Katie has a strong research background and qualifications alongside public sector experience. Having previously worked in Public Health, she is passionate about housing and health and understanding inequalities that people in communities face within local areas. She brings a rigorous approach to analysis with excellent attention to detail to ensure that robust conclusions can be drawn from it. Katie has produced reports for a wide range of audiences and excels at making complex data understandable using text, charts and images. Katie uses both primary and secondary data to compile robust research documents and reports, including SHMAs (Strategic Housing Market Assessments), Housing Needs Assessments and Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessments (GTAAs). She ensures that all research is enhanced with the most up-to-date and relevant legislation, policies and best practice guidance in housing and planning.
